Honors Given April Masini

MAJOR HONORS
Acknowledged by Governor Ben Cayetano of Hawaii, in 'Imi Loa Magazine', "with almost single-handedly reviving Hawaii's television industry," April (and her ex-husband, Al's) impact on that state's entertainment industry was extraordinary. So extraordinary, in fact, that it led to the state's Governor officially proclaiming June 4th "MASINI DAY"!

Recipient of “"Maile Award",” the highest honor available, presented by Tony Vericella, President/CEO, Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau, "in recognition and appreciation of outstanding contributions in the marketing and promotion of Hawaii."

Honored with the creation of an annual "Masini Volunteer of the Year Award"” by
Mufi Hanneman, Chairman of City Council, City and County of Honolulu.
