by forming powerful strategic alliances with public and private corporations,

Effective communication and interaction between corporate/creative teams and
Hawaii’s Visitor/Convention Bureau provided far-reaching and ground breaking,
advertising/marketing/promotional campaign results, including the first-of-it’s-kind
co-branding initiatives.
Demonstrated exemplary leadership, creative thinking and strategic vision when
optimizing and leveraging marketing/production/event opportunities to pioneer mentoring and internship programs.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Gained 125 jobs for HI residents via Baywatch, while delivering marketing/advertising exposure that incorporated every media medium simultaneously, valued in excess of $66.6 million, generating $45 million in state revenue -- 25 times the state’s $2.7 million investment.
- Secured/orchestrated the 1998 Miss Universe Pageant for Hawaii, delivering tens of millions in marketing, advertising and promotional exposure, across 85 countries, valued in excess of $53 million, from a $3 million investment.
- Created, developed and implemented cross-promotional/marketing packages among 4 public/private entities, assessed media values of each, acquired necessary partners/sponsorships and tracked highly successful results.
- Pioneered, developed and implemented “Share Aloha with the World,” the largest and most successful statewide contest in the history of Hawaii, with 2,877 submissions.
- Contest essays and illustrations continue to be displayed today, throughout Honolulu International Airport and each of the neighbor island airports, after 5 years.
- Simultaneously created/executed 9 back-to-back, uniquely themed world-class events, including Hawaii’s largest weekday parade (to-date), that cemented the second week of May 1998 (according to each the print, radio and television media alike) as “the biggest week of back to back events in Hawaii’s history.”
- Miss Universe Corporation owner, Donald Trump refers to the 1998 Hawaii Miss Universe Pageant, as the event that established the bar, and standards, against which all pageants are measured.
- Marketing and promotional consultant to Pacific Blue, The Inaugural SONY Open in Hawaii, The Wheel of Fortune, Wind on Water, and Fantasy Island.
